Sahil founded Gumroad in 2012 when he was 19. At first, he wanted to grow the Gumroad to be the next billion-dollar company but soon he realized Gumroad's growth was never going to make it. He openly shared how he scaled down the business and eventually made a come back as the creator economy blooms in 2020.
He writes reflective essays on his own website and he uploads Gumroad's Open Board meeting onto Youtube.
